Marcos Ludwig advises Brazilian and foreign clients in corporate, contractual, regulatory, and corporate governance matters in various sectors and industries, with focus on project development and transactional work in the energy and infrastructure sector. He is experienced in dealing with commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures (JVs), public-private partnerships (PPPs), regulatory matters, corporate social responsibility (CSR), Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), and other strategic matters. Clients praise his ‘valuable experience’, ‘very personable approach’ and ‘excellent capacity in forming and leading competent teams on any legal issue’.

Fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, and German, and with basic knowledge of Mandarin, Marcos heads the firm’s China Desk and is a member of the German Desk and of the French Desk.
