Elisa Rezende has significant experience advising domestic and foreign clients on matters in the banking and finance, capital markets and corporate law areas. She regularly provides counsel to financial institutions, multilateral agencies and international financial institutions, including the International Finance Corporation and the Nordic Investment Bank.

Ms. Rezende handles a wide range of corporate transactions, including loans, syndicated loans and other financing transactions. She also assists with cross-border offerings of debt and equity securities, cross-border securitization transactions, joint venture partnership deals, project finance transactions and mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Rezende represents clients in a variety of industries, including mining, shipping, oil & gas and banking.

From 2006 through 2008, Ms. Rezende worked as an associate in the Miami office of a leading US-based global law firm. She focused her practice in the area of capital markets, where she represented issuers, underwriters and other participants in cross- border offerings of debt and equity securities, including offerings under Rule 144A and Regulation S, private placements and registered offerings with the SEC and the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM).

Ms. Rezende also worked as international associate at a major New York law firm from 2004 through 2005 in the structured finance practice. In this role, she mainly represented financial institutions in structured finance transactions involving Latin American issuers in the banking sector.
