Marcos Ludwig advises Brazilian and foreign clients in corporate, contractual, regulatory, and corporate governance matters in various sectors and industries, with focus on project development and transactional work in the energy and infrastructure sector. He is experienced in dealing with commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures (JVs), public-private partnerships (PPPs), regulatory matters, corporate social responsibility (CSR), Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), and other strategic matters. Fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, and German, and with basic knowledge of Mandarin, Marcos heads the firm's China Desk and is a member of the German Desk and of the French Desk. He is a board member of both the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Rio de Janeiro) and of the France-Brazil Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFB Rio de Janeiro), as well as a member of the Infrastructure Business Council of the Industry Federation of the State of Rio de Janeiro (FIRJAN), among other associations.

Marcos is a listed arbitrator in the panel of leading institutions in Brazil (CBMA), China (CIETAC and SHIAC) and the Netherlands (CAfA/NAI), with experience of serving as arbitrator in tribunals in disputes involving contractual, corporate, or regulatory matters.
