Federico Osvaldo Valiño joined Abeledo Gottheil Abogados in 2006 and has been a partner since 2018.

His practice areas include complex litigation, consumer law, restructuring, insolvency, and bankruptcy. He also has broad experience in arbitration, commercial law and corporate legal advice related to distribution and sales representative contracts.

Career

Graduated from the School of Law of the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 2007 and member of Abeledo Gottheil Abogados since 2006, he has complemented his professional work with different post-graduate studies, among them the Specialization in Contracts and Damages of the Universidad de Salamanca, Spain (2018).

He is mainly devoted to complex litigation and arbitration and provides advice to multinational companies on corporate and contractual issues from an integral viewpoint, especially focused on conflict prevention and dispute resolution. His practice areas include insolvency, bankruptcy and debt restructurings.

His academic background has been completed with different post-graduate studies: a Course on Modern Business Contracts (XXVII), Business Law Legal Concept of the Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires, 2014; Training Course on the Practice of Business Law, Universidad de Buenos Aires, 2009; Course on Modern Business Contracts (XXVI), Business Law Legal Concept of the Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires, 2011.

Between 2015 and 2016, he was President of CAMBRAS Joven, young professionals’ area of the Argentine-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce of the Argentine Republic (CAMBRAS).

During the years 2020 and 2021, he contributed to the Global Indicators projects of The World Bank Group, in the respective chapters “Resolving Insolvency”, “Enforcing Contracts”, and “Protecting Minority Investors”, relating to the Argentine Republic.
