Career

Stephanie has over 15 years of experience and has focus her practice in Corporate and Business, Business groups, Mergers and acquisitions, Insurance and Compliance. She has developed her work in national and international matters, supporting transnational clients in their business in the corporate, contractual, and regulatory spheres, while also coordinating other areas of our firm to offer comprehensive advice. Since 2018, as the Pro Bono Coordinator at az, she has led Pro Bono initiatives aligned with the firm's legal principles, aimed at facilitating equal access to justice for individuals, social organizations, and vulnerable groups through legal advice and actions related to legal education.

In 2022, Stephanie was recognized by the Pro Bono Foundation as the Best Coordinator of a Legal Firm for her outstanding work in promoting Pro Bono causes and contributing to the development and social work of the organization Additionally, she was appointed as an Officer of the Pro Bono Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA) due to her experience, track record, and work in Pro Bono programs and initiatives in recent years. In this leadership role, she seeks to promote Pro Bono work in the legal community at an international . level through activities that foster legal work as a public good and a culture of inclusion within organizations.

She is an active member of the Vance Center Women in the Profession (WIP), Pro Bono Foundation Chile, and the international foundation and network "Inspiring Girls Chile," which aims to promote the development of self-esteem and professional ambition in school-age girls to enhance their personal and future career development.

She has fostered strategic alliances in the field with organizations focused on women's leadership and visibility, such as "Hay Mujeres" and the "International Women's Forum Chile," to position, include, and increase the visibility of women in the national and international context. Stephanie also provides Pro Bono advice to the International Women's Forum, a global organization of women leaders that promotes the work of women through mentoring programs and scholarships, with prominent members including Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama.

Stephanie has led various community initiatives on diversity and inclusion, including dialogue spaces and training programs for women with the participation of volunteers from az. As an example, she established a cooperative partnership with the NGO "Amanda Labarca," focused on empowering and promoting women's autonomy (www.amandalabarca.org). In 2023, she was nominated in the category rising stars of the year Corporate M&A in the Awards 2023. She has the profile to the recognized as a “rising star” by The Legal 500 in the context of her growing career in corporate and business legal matters
