Agustín has participated in a large number of complex acquisitions and investigations, representing clients from a vast array of industries including banking, credit cards, insurance, food, apparel, personal care products, cleaning products, pharmaceuticals, steel, mining, oil & gas, cement and construction supplies, agribusiness and agrochemicals, hotels, tourism, car rental, aeronautics, automotive and auto parts, appliances, electronics, open television services and cable, audiovisual content, telecommunications, infrastructure, investment funds, shipping and logistics. In recent years, he has counselled the leading platforms in the online payments market, tourism services, social media, online gaming, and ecommerce marketplaces.

Education

Agustín obtained his Law degree from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (2001) and his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Toronto, Canada (2005). He is professor of Competition Law and Intellectual Property at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. He has published more than 25 academic articles, including a number accepted through blind review proceedings, in Argentina, Australia, Germany (Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property and Competition Law), the United States (Chicago-Kent University), Mexico and the United Kingdom (European Competition Law Review, European Intellectual Property Review, and Intellectual Property Quarterly, among others). His articles have been quoted in books, academic articles, and decisions of the Argentine Competition Commission, trial courts and courts of appeal.
