Agustín Luis Duarte has been an attorney of Beccar Varela since 2005, where he works in the Insurance Law Department.

Agustín has represented clients in transactions such as the formation and sale of insurance companies, and the transfer and sale of customer portfolios. He daily assists insurers and brokers in their interactions with the governmental agencies, and represents clients in judicial proceedings related to major accidents and class actions.

He is a member of the Colegio Público de Abogados de la Capital Federal (Buenos Aires Bar Association), the International Bar Association, and the International Insurance Law Association (AIDA).

He is senior associate of Beccar Varela. His practice areas include insurance and reinsurance law, where he advises clients in regulatory, corporate and litigation matters. Agustín also has broad expertise in corporate law, liability and tort law, and consumer law.

He received his law degree from Universidad Católica Argentina (2000) and obtained his LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law (Dallas, USA, 2014-15). In addition, he worked as a foreign counselor at Hunton & Williams LLP (Miami, USA, 2015).
