Pedro is a partner and a member of the corporate/M&A area and leading partner of the compliance, and competition departments.

He specializes in local and international M&A, corporate and financial restructurings, in the strategic development and implementation of compliance programs, and corporate governance matters.
Pedro was legal VP of Citicorp Chile-Citibank NA and also former Chief Legal Officer & Chief External Affairs Officer (1995-2008) of Coca-Cola Andina S.A. (AKO- NYSE Listed).

He is member of the board of general fund manager AGF QUEST and of family-owned corporations, such as Viña Valdivieso and Artel S.A. (Chairman). He is a former member of the board of B.Bosch (Chairman) and AGSA Inmobiliaria, and of several Chilean publicly traded corporations including Farmacias Ahumada, AES Gener, Casa de Moneda Chile S.A. (Charmain), MARINSA, Nitratos de Chile and La Polar S.A.
Pedro is Co-chair of the Corporate Governance Committee of the Chilean American Chambers of Commerce (AMCHAM); member of the Legal Committee of the Chile-UK Chamber of Commerce (BRITCHAM); member of the Regulatory and Corporate Law Advisory Council, from Universidad del Desarrollo (CDRE UDD); and was a member for 6 years, until 2021 of the Legal Circle of ICARE.
Education
Graduated with honors in Law from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (1985), followed by a Master of Comparative Jurisprudence (LL.M.-C.J.) from New York University School of Law, USA (1991). Completed a Diploma in Corporate Governance at the Practising Law Institute (PLI) of New York (1995) and an MBA from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2003). Furthered education with Diplomas in Audit Committees and Corporate Governance from Harvard Business School, USA (2006), and in Antitrust from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2008).
