Néstor Belgrano currently acts as of counsel and was a partner of the firm for more than 30 years. He specializes in banking law, shipping and aircraft finance, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, insurance and telecommunications.

He has represented banks in the acquisition of financial entities in Argentina, as well as in public share offers of stocks and securities in Argentina and the United States.

He has also advised telecommunication firms, public service providers and electricity producers in the financing of their projects.

He advises companies and lenders in financial planning, leasing, security interests and mortgages, exchange and tax regulations, including the negotiation of loans and financial leasing to fund the acquisition of aircraft and vessels and to register their security interests.

He regularly advises clients in corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, technology transfer and technical assistance, insurance, consumer credit, air and space law, shareholders’ agreements, leasing agreements, and reorganization and insolvency proceedings.

He has been director of various banks and is director and auditor of important companies.

Dr. Belgrano has served as professor in different graduate and post-graduate courses at renowned Argentine universities and he is the author of several articles published in important journals.

He is a member of the Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires, the Committee of Bank Lawyers of the Argentine Republic, and the American Bar Association.
