Career

Mr. Mois with over 25 years of professional experience, he has primarily focused his practice on technology, corporate, commercial, and real estate matters.

In the Fintech field, he has advised both local and foreign companies on legal and technological issues, protection and exploitation of their intangible assets, technology transfer, contractual implementation of their business models, and related aspects such as personal data protection. Additionally, he advises corporate entities and non-profit organizations on structuring, governance, and regulatory compliance.

In corporate and real estate matters , he advises national and foreign companies on property acquisition and disposition, development of residential and commercial real estate projects, terms of exploitation, administration, and negotiation of mitigation agreements with the government arising from real estate projects.

Mr. Mois is an opinion leader in fintech, technology, data protection, and cybersecurity matters. During 2022-2023, he participated, through FinteChile and other fintech companies, in discussions on the fintech bill, the transition of the payments industry to a four-party model, and the implementation of maximum interchange fees in line with recent regulatory changes in Chile. He also frequently participates in forums and seminars abour fintech, technology, and corporate matters.

He has been recognized by different legal rankings in fintech areas such as Chambers and Partners: The Legal 500; Latin Lawyer 250 in Data, Technology, and Privacy Law; Leaders League; Best Lawyers  in Intellectual Property and MTM and was named "Lawyer of the Year" in Technology Law by the same ranking.

For over 10 years, he served as editor of the Criminal Policy Journal at the University of Talca. He has different publications in his areas of expertise, such as "Network Neutrality in the United States" in the Chilean Journal of Law and Technology, Vol. 3, No. 1, 1st semester 2014, and chapters in books like "The Internet: Laws and Regulatory Regimes" edited by Dennis Campbell, Juris Publishing, 2010.
