Paul Clair is a member of the Paris Bar since November 2010.

He joined Ogletree Deakins in January 2022 as Counsel.

Paul advises French and foreign companies established in France on all employment law issues.

A graduate of the Universities of Paris XI and Paris II Panthéon-Assas, Paul has developed a solid expertise in the management and social strategy of reorganisations, e.g., collective redundancy projects for economic reasons and job protection plans, negotiation of collective agreements on collective severance or PPIM, management of company transfers.

Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins’ employment law team, Paul worked for almost a year in a law firm specialising in immigration and international mobility law in New York, then for 5 years in a law firm specialising in employment law and for more than 7 years in August Debouzy’s employment law department, where he was a senior associate since 2017.
