Career

Mr. Haughey's practice covers the full spectrum of intellectual property law, with a particular emphasis on patent and trademark litigation. His experience encompasses a broad range of technologies across the mechanical, electrical, computer, and pharmaceutical industries. Mr. Haughey has represented business and industry leaders in litigations in the U.S. district and appellate courts and in section 337 investigations before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC). In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Haughey regularly counsels clients on patent and trademark protection, clearance, licensing, and enforcement strategies. Mr. Haughey also is Chair of the firm’s Energy Practice Group. Mr. Haughey has an active pro bono practice representing veterans and non-profit organizations, and has been recognized by the Federal Circuit Bar Association for his pro bono service.
