Maria H. Ruiz's practice includes the defense of federal and state employment discrimination, products liability, medical malpractice claims, personal injury, and defense and prosecution of complex commercial matters. She is a member of the American Inns of Court (1999), the Miami-Dade County Bar Association, the DRI Trial Tactics Committee, and the Women in Products Liability Subcommittee of ABA Products Liability Committee. Maria has been recognized as an “Up & Comer” for 2009-2013 by the South Florida Legal Guide. Additionally, she was named a Florida Super Lawyer for 2014-2016 as well as a 2012 Florida Rising Star. Maria has also been recognized with an AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rating—the highest peer review rating—by Martindale-Hubbell.
