Jeffrey S. King is a partner in K&L Gates’ Boston office, where he concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation and arbitration in a variety of areas, including admiralty, product liability, toxic tort, and all types of business and contract disputes. His clients include transportation companies, financial institutions, and manufacturers. His maritime and transportation experience has involved representing clients in personal injury and wrongful death defense, cargo damage, equipment damage, charter dispute, insurance, collision, allision, pollution, and USCG regulatory matters.  He has tried cases nationwide in various state and federal courts and has prepared appeals to various state and federal appellate courts, including the United States Supreme Court. He is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy and Harvard Law School, retired from the United States Navy Reserve as a Commander, is a Proctor Member of the Maritime Law Association, and is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America.
