Career

TozziniFreire´s partner, Fernanda has over 12 years´ experience in complex M&A negotiations, in coordination and implementation of infrastructure projects and in the advisory area of business law, succession planning and commercial agreements. She has represented clients in acquisitions and investments in several sectors, such as renewable energy, mining, banking, agribusiness, technology and medical services. In the advisory area, Fernanda is highly skilled in conducting corporate reorganizations, implementing corporate governance practices, involving both family groups and publicly-held companies, monitoring the day-to-day corporate activities, as well as operations to prepare businesses for sale. Her expertise in infrastructure projects includes drafting commercial agreements, advising and monitoring the implementation of projects, and structuring of companies. Since 2018, Fernanda has been involved in innovation and startups-related matters, having conducted investment rounds in Brazilian startups, mainly in the southern region of Brazil, and participated in negotiations and preparation of documents for the implementation of governance in startups. The immersive experience acquired by taking a Venture Capital course in Berkeley, California, allowed Fernanda to focus her activities on this market.
