Career

TozziniFreire’s partner in the Litigation practice, Sofia has extensive experience in Tech Litigation, having assisted some of the most relevant tech companies in matters related to the Brazilian Civil Rights Framework for the Internet and the General Data Protection Law (LGPD). Her work comprises all strategic litigation, from civil investigations and public civil actions to leading cases at different national courts.

Education

Master’s degree in Commercial Law from USP (Universidade de São Paulo), having been a visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, in Munich, Germany. Several specialization (lato sensu) degrees in Civil Procedural Law and Technology, from Harvard University, Fundação Getulio Vargas, and Institute for Technology and Society of Rio de Janeiro. Graduate of the Law School of USP (Universidade de São Paulo). University extension in École des Sciences Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po Paris), France.
