Partner of the Litigation and Arbitration practice groups at TozziniFreire, Guilherme has broad experience in the assistance of commercial arbitrations and investment procedures before several different institutions and in cases of all levels of the Judiciary Branch in Brazil. His expertise also includes contractual consultative matters, negotiation of complex contracts and civil litigation for M&A transactions. In 2015, Guilherme worked as a visiting associate at Dechert (Paris) LLP, in the International Arbitration team.

Executive Secretary of Brazilian Arbitration and Mediation Commission of ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) for the 2021-2022 biennium. Member of the ICC Global Commission on Arbitration and ADR since 2022. General Secretary (director) of CAF (Arbitration Chamber of FEDERASUL).

Doctor of Civil Law from the Law School of USP (Universidade de São Paulo), 2018 (doctoral thesis recognized by the Outstanding Award for the best one in Civil Law at USP, in 2018). Studied at the Trial Academy organized by IADC (International Association of Defense Counsel) from Stanford University, USA, 2018. M. degree from UFRGS (Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul), 2011. Graduate of the Law School of PUCRS (Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul), 2005.
