Career

Trent has a broad tax law practice that includes corporate tax planning and tax litigation & dispute resolution.

Prior to joining Felesky Flynn, he clerked for the judges of the Tax Court of Canada in Ottawa and articled at a national law firm in Vancouver.

Trent holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary, a Master of Public Administration from Queen’s University, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in History from the University of Guelph.

In law school, Trent won both the Chief Justice William McGillivray Mooting Shield and the Blackstone Debating Medal. He served as an editor of the Alberta Law Review, founded the Calgary chapter of the Runnymede Society, and volunteered with the Tax Court Assistance Project.
