Career
Felicitas de Achával specializes in labour and social security issues. She provides legal assistance in hiring and assigning workers internationally, including labour, social security, immigration and tax advice related to the expatriation and relocation of personnel.
She is an expert in job offerings and labour contracts, confidentiality, non-disclosure, non-compete and non-concurrence agreements, and in severance, early and/or voluntary retirement agreements, among others.
She gives training courses and provides in-house professional training on labour law.
Ms. de Achaval designs and implements internal company regulations, personnel policies and employee manuals applicable locally and in different territorial jurisdictions.
She has extensive experience in providing comprehensive advice on labour law, both individually and collectively, related to corporate mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence activities and assistance in human resources issues associated to the merger and reorganization of companies in the post-acquisition stage. Ms. de Achaval participates in collective bargaining by branch or industry sector and by company, including the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements and company agreements.
She provides advice on the prevention, management and resolution of collective labour conflicts and direct-action measures.
Prior to joining the firm, she was an associate with Bruchou, Fernández Madero, Lombardi & Mitrani (2005-2007) and with Severgnini, Robiola, Grinberg & Larrechea (2000-2005).
