Career

Lorenzo P. Gnecco specializes and has extensive experience in employment, collective bargaining and social security matters. Prior to joining the firm, he was a partner at Bruchou, Fernández Madero, Lombardi & Mitrani (2005-2007). He served as senior legal advisor at the Techint Group's labor law department (1988-2005) and handled an extensive variety of labor and social security matters in several countries. He was also an officer at the National Labor Courts of the City of Buenos Aires (1980-1988). He has a well recognized experience in all aspects related to labor and social security matters, advising clients in different countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Ecuador, Japan, Mexico, Romania, Uruguay, United States and Venezuela.

He is a professor of graduate and post-graduate labor and social security law programs and a frequent lecturer on the subject at some of the most prestigious Argentine universities, including, Universidad Austral, Universidad Católica Argentina, Universidad Católica de Salta, Universidad Católica de Santiago del Estero, Universidad de Belgrano and Universidad de Buenos Aires. In addition, he has authored and co-authored several treatises and articles appearing in specialized publications. He has given numerous lectures, conferences and frequently participated in national and international congresses and seminars, as a lecturer.

Mr. Gnecco is a member of the National Academy of Law and Social Sciences (Academia Nacional de Derecho y Ciencias Sociales), of the Argentine Association of Labor and Social Security Law (Asociación Argentina de Derecho del Trabajo y la Seguridad Social) and of the International Bar Association (IBA).

He is admitted to practice law in the City of Buenos Aires.
