Career

Corina Laudato is an expert in local and international tax planning and has extensive experience in comprehensive tax advice with an emphasis on the tax structuring of acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, business reorganizations, private equity investments and their associated financings. She regularly advises clients on matters involving both corporate and individual taxation and has been active in designing and implementing several international tax efficient investment and business platforms (including complex joint ventures, trusts and investment funds) both in Argentina and abroad. She has also provided tax advice in connection with a variety of financial transactions, including debt exchanges, refinancings and restructurings. In addition, she has experience in tax litigation at the federal, provincial and municipal levels.

Prior to joining the firm, she was a member of the tax group of Buenos Aires firm Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites, Arntsen & Martínez de Hoz (jr) between March 1999 and August 2001, and subsequently, between March 2005 and December 2012. She was a New York-based associate with the international law firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP between September 2002 and February 2005.

Ms. Laudato authored several tax-related publications and was National Reporter at the 2009 and 2010 International Bar Association Annual Conferences (Tax Section). She also participated as a speaker in several IBA conferences. She has been appointed moderator and speaker in the 5th IFA -International Fiscal Association- Latin American Regional Conference (Mexico, May 2013). IFA National Reporter 2019. She is a member of the Argentine Association of Fiscal Studies and the International Bar Association.

She has been consistently recommended in several legal guides, including Latin America’s Leading Lawyers for Business published by Chambers & Partners and the PLC Tax Transaction Handbook.
