Career

In the infrastructure industry, Bernardo advises financial institutions and developers on the construction and financing of projects, such as highways, railways, aqueducts, water treatment plants, desalinization plants, government facilities and other major projects, through services and construction contracts, concessions and public-private partnerships.

In the life sciences industry, Bernardo advises pharmaceutical companies in M&A transactions and on regulatory matters related to marketing authorizations, divesture of assets, vaccination projects, public procurement, manufacturing, supply and distribution of medicines, commercializing medicines and human clinical trials, as well as the construction and operation of pharmaceutical facilities.

Bernardo is recognized as a Life Sciences expert and leading lawyer by renowned international legal publications, such as Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500, which recently honored him with the 2024 Mexico Life Sciences Lawyer of the Year award. Chambers Global Guide identifies him as a leader in the Projects practice.
