Founding Partner of Arteaga Gorziglia  and co-head of the Corporate Group and co-head of the Energy Group.

Career

Mr. Arteaga has over 30 years of professional experience, focusing his practice on electricity law, energy, commercial law and arbitration. He has advised numerous companies, national and foreign, in matters of energy law, regulatory matters, as well as in mergers and acquisitions, insolvency and corporate restructuring in various economic sectors.

He is an arbitrator of the Mediation and Arbitration Centre of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce since 2001. President of the Social Union of Christian Entrepreneurs (USEC) between 2017 and 2019. Member of the National Justice and Peace Commission since 2019.

Mr. Arteaga worked at Clifford Chance, London (1997).  He also,  counts with an extensive teaching career, having served as Postgraduate professor of the Master in Business Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, between 2000 and 2005, and as Professor of Commercial Law at the Law School of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, between 1998 and 2005.
