Partner of Arteaga Gorziglia and head of  Real Estate Group  and co-head of  Energy Group.

Career

Mr. Cruz has over 24 years of experience in commercial and financial transactions, development of real estate/urban projects, as well as energy projects (including EPC and PPA contracts), mergers and acquisitions.

He specializes in initial public offers of corporations in stock exchanges, public tender offers both in Chile and in the US, antitrust, engineering, construction and procurement contracts (EPC) of electric power generation plants, transmission lines and LNG regasification terminals; power purchase agreements (PPA).

Mr. Cruz is Professor of Civil Law and Theory of Law at the Law School of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, since 2009.

Honored by Chile’s Ministry of Justice for his outstanding professional practice (2001).

Before joining Arteaga Gorziglia, he worked at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, New York (2006-2007).
