Career

Carlos Leonardo is a member of the firm's Real Estate practice group.

His practice focuses on commercial, corporate and real estate law. He assists in the structuring, drafting, negotiation and review of commercial transactions, mainly in the real estate sector, as well as in other economic sectors. In addition, he has expertise in U.S. law and international transaction management, primarily in common law jurisdictions.

He also has experience in conducting title studies and due diligences, review of real estate matters in M&A transactions, drafting and negotiation of real estate agreements, public deeds, procedures before registry offices, incorporation of trusts and/or companies to carry out investment processes, MOU's, LOI's, operation contracts for hotels, commercial premises, factories, among others.

He is a lawyer graduated from Universidad de La Sabana and is currently finishing his LLM in American & Transnational Law at Dayton University - School of Law, program in which he has a scholarship award.
