Career
Paula Vejarano is partner of the Litigation and Arbitration team. She has broad professional experience advising different clients in dispute resolution, corporate law, commercial contracts and, in general, legal advice related to the business practice at national and international level.
Paula's experience focuses on the representation of national and international companies in different sectors such as infrastructure, automotive, pharmaceutical, aeronautics, hydrocarbons, mining, health, technology, telecommunications, real estate, agriculture, electric energy, public services, and commercial distribution of goods and services before civil and administrative courts, as well as in national and international arbitration. Her practice covers civil and commercial law, public law, contractual liability and damages, class actions and restrictive practices of competition. She was also a university lecturer in Obligations, Assets, and Insurance Law.
She has a J.D. from Universidad Externado de Colombia, and a postgraduate degree in International Contracts from the same university. She is a registered arbitrator of the Center of Arbitration of the Chamber of Commerce in Cali and Medellin, founding member and director of the Civil Proceedings Chapter of Centro de Estudios en Derecho Procesal - CEDEP and founding member of Latin American International Arbitration - LIA.
