He has almost 22 years of experience in corporate positions at private sector companies such as Banco de Colombia, Grupo Corona, Compañía Nacional de Chocolates, and Grupo Orbis. Founding partner of Contexto Legal, where he leads the Corporate, M&A, and Labor Law practice areas of the firm.

Mr. Villegas is a member of the International Bar Association since 2003 and has taken part in several conferences of the Latin American Forum and worldwide in over 15 countries, belonging to the Family Companies, M&A, and Competition Committees. Within his area of expertise, he sits on the Boards of several important Colombian private companies and nonprofit organizations.

Lawyer from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, specialized in labor law at the same University and Industrial Relations Management at Universidad EAFIT; he later graduates in Senior Management from the same University.
