Federico Escobar leads the Tax Law and Family Businesses & Estate Planning practice areas of Contexto Legal S.A.. He is a graduate lawyer of the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and has postgraduate studies in tax law from Los Andes University. He has extensive experience in tax consulting, both for businesses and families, which is complemented by the corporate practice that he has developed along his career. His experience includes working as a lawyer and board member of important companies in Colombia.

​In the educational field, Federico has served as professor of business and tax law of undergraduate and graduate programs of the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and Universidad de Medellín. He has also served as a speaker at national and international forums on tax and commercial law.
