Specialized in bankruptcy law for over 40 years, Renato is recognized as one of the leading lawyers in the area of company recovery in Brazil by the main legal rankings. He teaches classes and lectures on Judicial and Out-of-Court Reorganization and Bankruptcy in several public and private entities. He also acts as a legal consultant for financial institutions.

Member of review committees for the Bankruptcy and Reorganization Law Project (Law 11.101/05) constituted by the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/SP) and by the São Paulo Lawyers Institute (IASP).
