Career

Camila is currently a senior associate at the firm, with over 8 years of experience in International Trade Law, Competition & Antitrust, as well as in Compliance and regulatory affairs and in Dispute Resolution Mechanisms. Camila worked at the Brazilian Diplomatic Representation before the World Trade Organization (WTO) as a researcher (2016) and previously assisted for more than 5 years a former WTO Appellate Body Judge, Mr. Luiz Olavo Baptista, in national and international arbitration proceedings, as well as in trade law matters. She currently co-leads the International Trade practice at Magalhães e Dias, alongside Yi Shin Tang and Ana Luiza Sanches. Camila advises clients across various sectors such as in food, beverages, fuel, chemical products, cellulose and paper, home appliances, technology, amongst others, having been highly praised by clients and peers for her professionalism and technical knowledge.

Camila majored in Law at the University of São Paulo’s Law School (USP) (2013), where she also obtained her PhD in International Trade Law (2023, summa cum laude). LL.M. at Harvard Law School (2016, honors).
