André Lemes is a partner in the Tax practice of Vella Pugliese Buosi Guidoni Advogados. With more than 20 years of experience, André has a strong presence in the advisory, administrative and litigation areas, with extensive experience in tax advisory and tax litigation related to companies in the Electric sector, where he has conducted leading cases in administrative and judicial spheres. He is a former member of the Tax Court of the State of São Paulo (Tribunal de Impostos e Taxas de São Paulo) and the Brazilian Administrative Federal Tax Court (Conselho Administrativo de Recursos Fiscais, or CARF). Cited in Chambers Latin America Guide as Associates to watch in Tax Litigation in 2012 and 2013.
