Career

Gerardo is a senior associate at Consortium Legal Costa Rica. He has more than 11 years of experience in labor law and labor litigation. He has specialized in the litigation of corporate clients in the areas of labor law, labor relations and compliance and has participated in representation of employers in administrative proceedings against the Costa Rican Social Security Fund and has also participated in several due diligence procedures National and international companies, as well as in the preparation of labor diagnoses to companies; he has given talks on discrimination, disciplinary power, sexual harassment, among others. He has provided training in companies on current labor issues.

During his career he has been a labor litigation attorney since 2012 and has handled all types of labor law claims, including wages and overtime, harassment and discrimination, employee disability issues, employee discipline and termination of employment, has also advised directors and managers on the drafting of employment contracts, employee policies and procedures, negotiations, among others. He has directed and been part of Investigation Commissions in internal investigation processes for allegations of Sexual and Labor Harassment.
