Career

Evan Stroman is a Partner in Diaz Reus’ Miami office, and focuses his practice on complex litigation.

As a former auditor of publicly traded financial institutions, Mr. Stroman specializes in banking matters, and he routinely represents clients in post-acquisition disputes, contract claims, and other business torts, including claims for breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and valuation issues. Mr. Stroman also has significant experience in regulatory examination and enforcement matters involving the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Office of Foreign Assets Control, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Federal Reserve Bank.

Prior to joining Diaz Reus, Mr. Stroman was an associate with a prestigious firm in Miami, where he focused on commercial litigation matters involving claims for confiscated Cuban property, prosecuting Ponzi schemes, and other banking-related claims.

During law school, Mr. Stroman served as a research assistant for his Bankruptcy and Trusts & Estates professors.

Mr. Stroman began his career in public accounting, auditing multiple publicly traded financial institutions and advising his clients on FDIC-assisted acquisitions. During that time, he also conducted several benefit plan audits.
