Richard is the managing partner of the Madagascar and Mauritius offices at John W Ffooks & Co. He is familiar with the specific legal and business cultures across Francophone Africa and has extensive deal experience in the French-speaking OHADA region across a wide range of sectors including mergers & acquisitions, mining and oil & gas.

Richard was born in South Africa, is a dual French/English national and has lived in Madagascar since 2010.

Before joining the firm Richard worked in London and Jersey for several years.

Richard is fluent in French and English.
