Career

With more than 20 years of experience in financial markets and financial services in consulting and litigation, Muriel Goldberg-Darmon’s practice focuses on advising listed companies and their managers, investment funds, insurance companies, and financial institutions on a wide range of regulatory and compliance issues, investigations, and corporate transactions. Muriel has significant experience in investigation, control, and sanction proceedings before the French financial market authority (AMF) and the Banking Authority (ACPR). She regularly advises on matters requiring international cooperation with foreign regulators, including the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), as well as on cross-border investigations led by the U.S. Department of Justice, including by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and relating to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and any subsequent judicial proceedings.
