Career

Fifteen years of experience in Labour Law, notably advising companies of all sizes on day-to-day and large-scale labour issues. For over ten years, Alessandra has been a university professor of Labour Law, both at undergraduate and graduate levels – since 2022, she has been a member of the faculty of Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. Her teaching experience, added to her academic background (she holds a Phd), give her a deep theoretical and practical basis to propose creative and responsible solutions to the problems presented by clients. Author of the book “Collective bargaining and the right to strike in the light of Law and Economics” (title translated from portuguese), released in 2022, and more than 50 scientific articles in Labour Law on various topics, such as: freedom of association, trade unionism, collective bargaining, Law and Economics, gender equality, and changes in Brazilian legislation on labour relations.

Member of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB). Former member of the Labour Law Council and the Union Law Council of the Brazilian Bar Association in the state of Paraná.

Education

Obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Graduate Degree in Labor Law from the Centro Universitário Curitiba (UniCuritiba). Also holds a Master’s degree and a PhD in Law from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (PUCPR). She was a Visiting Scholar at Fordham University School of Law (New York City, USA) in 2015.
