Matias is a lawyer graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, and his professional practice focuses on advising companies in corporate litigation. In addition, he has been actively involved in providing legal advice to different industries in insurance, commercial, banking and consumer law.

Before founding Cerolini & Ferrari Abogados, he worked for 10 years as a lawyer at Bruchou, Fernández Madero & Lombardi Abogados, leaving the firm in 2013 as a Senior Lawyer. There, he actively participated in the resolution of dozens of conflicts related to organizations of diverse nature, among them, the advice and representation of the largest banks in the country in class actions of consumer associations, lawsuits for damages, administrative claims and lawsuits for breach of contract.

Matías is a professor by competitive examination at the School of Law of the Universidad de Buenos Aires, where he began his teaching career more than two decades ago. Currently, he teaches Civil and Commercial Contracts and Class Actions in Consumer and Environmental Defense.

He is also a postgraduate professor in the Master in Business Law and in the Diploma in Corporate Finance Law at Universidad Austral, and in the Master in Business Law at Universidad de San Andrés.

He has lectured and conducted seminars at the Centro de Estudios de Derecho, Empresa y Finanzas (CEDEF), and at the Asociación de Bancos de la Argentina, among other institutions.

He is also author and co-author of several publications and books related to the areas of his practice.

He speaks and writes fluently in English and has knowledge of Chinese.

He is a member of the Colegio Público de Abogados de la Capital Federal and the Comité de Abogados de Bancos de la República Argentina.
