Managing Partner - Iraq

Alain heads the Firm’s Iraq practice. His work focuses on Corporate Law, Oil & Gas, Labor Law, Taxation and Financial Law. Among the diversified mix of clients he advises are regional and international companies and individual investors holding ventures in Iraq and the Middle East region, through procedures ranging from establishing new corporate entities to bond issuance, stock purchase agreements, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, tax structures and foreign direct investment. As part of his Iraqi law practice, Mr. Hannouche has been advising clients for more than ten years on the legal setup regulating their businesses in Iraq. His expertise has been emphasized by his reporting before international courts as an Iraqi Law expert and through the counseling of major multinational companies operating in Iraq in different fields. Alain has been constantly recognized by several legal directories as a leading individual in the Iraqi legal market.

Mr. Hannouche holds a Master of laws in Corporate and Financial Law from the George Washington University Law School (2008) along with a Master of Science in Finance from the George Washington University School of Business (2009), in Washington DC. He earned his Bachelor of Laws from the Saint Joseph University in Beirut (2007). Alain is a member of the Beirut Bar Association.
