Dispute Resolution

Margarita V��lez Casanova is the Director of the Dispute Resolution Area of Noboa, Peña & Torres.

As leader/member of the area, she has advised and represented our clients in different judicial processes, including constitutional, administrative, civil, family, and arbitration matters.

In this sense, Margarita participated as part of the dispute resolution team in a civil trial aimed at lifting the corporate veil against a lubricant company (Gulf representative in the country). She has intervened in the defense of damage lawsuits against companies such as UBESA (part of the Dole Group), OTECEL (of the Telefónica Group), and DHL EXPRESS.
