Edgar Bustamante is an associate at CorralRosales. He has more than 10 years of practice in areas such as International Arbitration, M&A, Corporate Law, Antitrust, International Commerce, IP, TMT and Construction. Edgar provides legal counsel to local and international clients in the pre-contractual, negotiation and execution stages of diverse projects. His counseling services also comprise IT audits, ranging from complex data centers to IT infrastructure, policies and operations.

In the area of ​​International Arbitration, Edgar has participated in Investor-State disputes subject to BIT’s and international commercial disputes in Latin America. Further, he represents parties in proceedings derived from public-private ventures related to TMT, construction, the procurement of goods and services and commercial contracts in general.

His extensive knowledge of Private International Law comes from having previously worked in both public and private institutions across Europe, USA and Latin America.

Edgar graduated from the Universidad Catolica de Guayaquil and holds a master’s degree in International Business Law from ESADE and International Arbitration from University of Miami.
