José Luis Colin Vega graduated from the Escuela Libre de Derecho, with honorific mention and a laureate-awarded professional thesis, for which he has also acted as an associate professor.

He obtained a master’s degree in Cybersecurity from the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE) in Madrid and is certificated in Privacy and Data Protection by Georgetown University, in Washington, D.C.

He is former Legal Vice President of CONCAMIN (Confederation of the Industrial Chambers of Mexico), which is a business representative entity of mandatory consultation for the federal government regarding the activities performed by its members, according to the Business Chambers and Confederations Act.

He is an active member of the ANADE (National Association of Business Attorneys) and the Mexican Bar Association.

Jose Luis Colin Vega has specialised in dispute resolution related to cyber risk, aviation, financial fraud, political risks, civil liability, product liability, insurance and reinsurance conflicts and crisis management amid complex cases.

He represents domestic and international clients, such as energy companies, mining corporations, financial entities, pharmaceutical and consumer products manufacturers.

He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
