Maria Jose followed her career as a lawyer in the Central University of Ecuador, working in practice, within the judicial, administrative, and notarial fields in branches of Procedural, Labor and Civil Law. Her trajectory in the university field allowed her to become a teaching assistant for different legal subjects taught in the classrooms of the higher education institution, Central University of Ecuador.

Maria Jose is the author of Practical Manuals of Labor-Commercial Law, distributed among several Decentralized Autonomous Governments of the city of Quito, Ecuador. Along her career, she has worked jointly with advisory lawyers of national and multinational companies in Ecuador, belonging to the automotive, pharmaceutical, hotel and hearing industries.
