Career

Clemens Grossmayer is a partner of CMS and a member of the transaction team. He is an expert for corporate law/M&A. He joined CMS in Vienna in 2005.

Clemens advises clients in national and international M&A transaction and the formation of joint ventures. He has significant experience in the structuring and implementing complex cross border reorganizations and carve-out transactions. He further advises on general corporate and corporate governance issues.
Clemens Grossmayer convenes a lecture course on the negotiation of M&A contracts both at the Faculty of Law of the University of Vienna and at the Vienna University of Business Administration.
Clemens Grossmayer regularly publishes on corporate and company law topics. His doctoral thesis on a topic related to reorganization law was awarded the 2010 Walther Kastner Prize of the Association of Austrian Banks & Bankers.
