Senior Associate

Alexander is Head of Tax at CMS Sofia and also a key member of the Corporate team.

He has extensive experience in corporate law with a focus on tax structuring, taxation, in particular corporate income tax, VAT, local taxes and fees and tax litigation. He has participated in various projects for local and multinational entities operating in a variety of sectors, involving tax advising, tax structuring, transfer pricing, tax due diligence for M&A projects and on-going tax consultancy.

Alexander is experienced in tax structuring mandates, involving international and local companies. He has advised a media and communications group on an internal group restructuring as well as on the implementation of internal employment policies.

Prior to joining CMS, Alexander was an attorney-at-law and senior tax consultant at Deloitte Bulgaria and an attorney-at-law and tax consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers Bulgaria.
