Partner and head of the Tax practice area. Rolando specialises in tax, foreign investment and tax litigation.

He has broad experience in tax advice applicable to transactions made through stock exchange market; tax aspects in the processes of liabilities re-structuring and companies financing; local and international mining and electrical activities; operations analysis on non-resident entities; tax planning and making of tax optimisation structures; tax procedures and negotiation with the Tax Authorities as well as the legal advice in filing tax returns.

Manager of the Tax and Legal Consultancy Department of Deloitte & Touche (Peru), Partner of Acerta Asesores S.A.C., and senior associate at Rebaza, Alcazar & De las Casas financial law firm. Rolando has taken part in audits organised by the Office of the Controller to State-owned entities, particularly to Banco Central de Reserva del Peru (BCR Central Reserve Bank of Peru). Teaching assistant of the Income Tax course at The Universidad de Lima Law School (2003), Professor of the Tax Law Master's course at Cesar Vallejo University in Trujillo, Chimbote, Cajamarca and Chiclayo. Professor of the Postgraduate course of Specialisation in Mining Management at The Universidad de Lima (2006) and Professor of the Postgraduate Program of the Corporate Income Tax course at ESAN University (2012-2015).
