Career

César Dávila specializes in tax litigation, providing strategic advice in audits, claims, appeals and, especially, in court. He has a solid interdisciplinary background in advising on corporate, labor, regulatory and litigation matters. Currently, he coordinates the tax litigation team, manages the legal strategy and incorporates the contributions of the areas of procedural, administrative and civil law, among others of the firm, which are necessary in the case of tax controversies of high complexity and materiality. He also has relevant experience in advising personal assets.

He is a member of the Peruvian Institute of Tax Law ("IPDT") and of the International Fiscal Association - Peru (IFA -Peru). He has a certificate in Legal, Commercial and International Taxation Aspects of Mergers and Acquisitions issued by theInternational Bureau of Fiscal Documentation(IBFD - Amsterdam).

He advises clients in the telecommunications (Telefónica), retail (Grupo Derco, Saga Falabella, Sodimac, Maestro, Tottus), mining (Grupo Nexa, Sumitomo, Southern Peaks, Condestable, Minera Colquisiri), electricity (Grupo Isa), real estate (Open Plaza, Urbanova, Morada, Dean Valdivia, Los Andenes), engineering and construction (Proyectos de Infraestructura del Perú, Consorcio Transmantaro, Grupo Cobra, Ciport S. A Sucursal del Perú), and industrial (Sensient Colors, Globenatural, Artecola, Fadesa, Santiago Queirolo, Bodegas y Viñedos Tabernero, Itochu, among others).
