Position

Ben has a broad commercial property experience with a specialism in development, investment, acquisitions and disposals. Before moving to Leeds in 2010, Ben spent seven years at an international law firm in the City of London where his clients included a number of blue chip property investment funds.  Previous clients include Shell Pension Fund, WM Morrison Supermarkets, Saudi Arabian Airlines, University of Oxford, Accenture and Lloyds.. As well as acting for investors and developers Ben also currently advises a range of landlords and tenants and on the property aspects of corporate and banking transactions.
Ben takes a straightforward and pragmatic approach to transactions. Working closely with his clients he is focused on securing the key objectives as soon as possible.

Trained at Allen & Overy LLP qualifying in 2003; Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP 2004-2010 (senior associate); Gordons LLP 2010 – 2016 (partner); Clarion 2016 to present (partner).
