Nigel leads the firm’s UK reinsurance practice and is handling a number of substantial Covid-related matters. He also leads the firm's Resilience and Climate Change practice, which focuses on the ways that insurance can play a wider role in making the world more resilient and address the impact of climate-related physical, transition and liability risks. He is active in the Insurance Development Forum (a global public/private initiative) and led a team which collaborated with them on their two recent papers on how innovation and technology can help to close the protection gap.Nigel also has extensive knowledge of emerging technologies and the impact that they are likely to have on the insurance market.
