Career

Ken has been a partner at Kaplan & Stratton since 2012. Ken practices in the corporate commercial department of the firm and his work involves advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, regulatory and compliance in the energy and mining sectors and business establishment. He also heads the firm’s company secretarial service.

Some of the notable transactions Ken has been involved in include: acting for KLM in the debt restructuring of Kenya Airways; acting for Panalpina Welltransport in establishing its perishables logistics business in Kenya through acquisition of two leading logistics companies in Kenya; acting as local counsel to lenders to Base Titanium Limited in the ongoing financing for the Kwale Mineral Sands Project.
