Senior Corporate Counsel

Faye works as a consultant solicitor within our Corporate Commercial and Asset Based Lending teams. Faye is a commercially astute international lawyer who, in addition to her broad corporate commercial experience, has particular expertise in corporate restructuring, insolvency and asset based lending.

Faye first joined PDT in 2007 as a trainee solicitor. Upon her qualification in 2008, she moved to an international firm in London and joined their corporate recovery and insolvency team. She has since worked for international firms in London, Singapore and Hong Kong and was recommended for corporate restructuring in the ‘Legal 500: Hong Kong Restructuring and Insolvency’ publication in 2018. Faye returned to PDT in early 2021.

Faye has a good commercial understanding of a client’s needs with a pragmatic approach and strives to pre-empt and resolve issues before they arise. Faye enjoys acting as a business /strategic advisor as well as legal advisor to clients. She is calm under pressure, easy to work with and enjoys the problem-solving elements of matters, particularly issues relating to cross-border aspects which is a key strength.

Faye was admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales (2008), British Virgin Islands (2013), Hong Kong (2016) and Canada (both Ontario (2020) and British Columbia (2021)).
